PUBLIC RESONANCE

GLASGOW

while going out to paint in the street in glasgow at night, a grey square on the side of a flat. set up the camera and begin a small work. running out of the house in the close between some rows of flats barelled a shouting, feet slapping on the pavement man yelling and swearing. not believing this work to be illegal grafitti, don't run. look at you brushes and painting clothes. footslapper. yelling and swearing, 'i'll call the cops right now if you dont remove that, the last bastards we painted over their paint....rant rant rant rant rant.' he was angry and abusive. he was insulting, and very mean. toil over your response for weeks, but now three years later have trouble summoning the passionate emotion. this expirience almost stopped these little public resonances.
