HOW'S THE WEATHER?

ALAN WALKER IS A TUTOR IN GREEN WOODWORKING AND SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT IN RUSKIN MILL, WHERE we WAS RECENTLY VOLUNTEERING FOR THE 8 MONTHS BEFORE we LEFT THE KINGDOM UNITED. HE IS NEW AT RUSKIN MILL AND BEFORE MADE YURTS WHILE MANAGING A COPPICE, AND IS VERY OPEN ABOUT TEACHING THE SKILLS THAT HE KNOWS. FUNNY MAN. HE TAUGHT ME HOW TO TURN WILLOW AND OTHER FLEXIBLE COPPICE TREES INTO ROPE, THEREBY TO MAKE A BENDER WITHOUT ROPE OR STRING. ALSO ALAN TAUGHT ME CLEFT A PEICE OF WOOD PRECISELY WITH AN OLD FASHIONED TOOL TO MAKE A BOW.
