THESE PAINTING ARE A PART OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT CREATED FOR InnoVent IN 2007 WITHIN FRANCE BY MR. ZIGLER AND MISS GIFFORD.

HEIGHT. Today, the average commercial turbine tower height is 60-100m, as high as 120m. Large modern turbines can have a rotor sweep area three times greater than older, smaller models, but it seems that they result in similar numbers of casualties (Howell 1995). This means that if one larger turbine replaces three smaller ones, avian mortality per wattage may be reduced by two-thirds (Erickson et al. 1999). Having fewer, larger tower could reduce impact, instead of having 30 towers at 30m you could install 10 at 80m with sImilar result.
